The Costa de la Luz has some splendid golf courses and there are plenty to choose from. Islantilla golf course is situated on the Spanish Algarve, one of Europe's most popular golfing destinations. There are five other superb courses that can be found within 15- 40 minutes drive of Islantilla. Casa Vista Golf overlooks the Islantilla Golf course and is only 10 minutes walk from the Club House.

Opened in 1992, Islantilla is one of the top courses in Europe. In 1995, it hosted the PGA European Tour Turespaña Masters which was won by Alex Cejeica. It has also hosted various Challenge Tour Events including the PGA de España. The American magazine, Golf Digest, recently rated it in the top 100 courses in Europe. The 27 hole course is set along the sea and amidst pine trees and is suitable for all handicaps.
